Embroidery is back!

Hello Zazzle Creators,

As you might have noticed, Embroidered products have been unavailable for some time. This was to facilitate much needed updates to the manufacturing process and to streamline our offering. We’re happy to report that Embroidered products are now available again with some updates.

Updates Made

In an effort to standardize our production process and align with best practices across the commercial embroidery industry, we have reduced  the thread color palette for all embroidered products.

The total range of thread colors previously offered for embroidered designs has been streamlined from 120 colors down to a curated selection of 15 core, highly versatile colors. This decision was made to achieve greater consistency in color matching, optimize production efficiency, and harmonize our offerings with the standard color selections used throughout the professional embroidery sector. This standardization will also allow for faster turnaround times.

Effective Date: This revised 15-color palette is in effect immediately upon the re-availability of the respective embroidered product lines. We are confident that the focused selection of 15 essential thread colors will continue to allow for stunning, high-quality, and richly colored embroidered designs.

What This Means for Your Existing Designs:

  • Designs using a retired color: We implemented an automated system to map any retired thread colors in your existing designs to the closest available color within the new 15-color palette. We strongly encourage you to review your designs to ensure your vision is perfectly represented. This will also give you an opportunity to refresh older designs if needed.
  • Designs currently using one of the new 15 core colors: No action is needed. Your designs will continue to be produced same as before.
  • Products this applies to:

Some of our products are displaying a color that isn’t available now,  and when clicked on go to a grey color instead.
Can we have the ‘replace product’ option so we can alter these threads to a color that is available before there are disappointed customers getting products that don’t resemble the color they selected please?

Just checked some of mine.  I had one in pastel pink color, but noticed it is now grey color on a polo shirt.  And ex., one of my hats where I had a lavender purple color text is now grey.  Can we please have replace tool opened up for items?  Thanks

James - Here is an example where the original color was a light pink. Product page still shows the pink, however, the design page shows the light gray (no color?).

When the newer color is auto chosen, we may want to choose a better color (as the announcement page alluded to), however, we can not go in to change it.

If we can not get the editing option, this product should not be opened to the public.

Would it be possible to get the hex codes for these colors?

Thanks,  Vivian

The hex codes are listed for the colors.

@tamirazdesigns

I’m missing something – where?  Could you please put in a link to the hex codes?

Hi all, thanks for sharing your feedback on these. The only options to correct these right now is to republish. I’m afraid the product edit feature is off until mid-january if you can wait until then. Thanks.

Hello! Will we be able to upload our own embroidery files in formats such as .dst, .exp, .pes, or others?
