Ha! Thank you! I was thinking it was something about the kind of paper or… well I don’t know but “new product launch” never occurred to me! Maybe someday I’ll adjust to communication via acronym, but I doubt it!

Ahh, can see them better on the laptop. Nice and a more cost friendly and possibly a more sustainable option for buyers. Do they have any layer of plastic in them? Are they fully recyclable/compostable? If so, it would be great if you add those details to the product page, in fact for all paper products.

@James , you need to adjust all regular previews, the card is way too dark and especially light designs look extremely dull and ugly. I assume you print on white paper, so, please, make the card white and the background a tad darker for some contrast. You may add perhaps a slight shadow. The in-situ look better. Thank you.

Can the material these are made from hold up to add glitter or cotton with glue areas or paint it yourself areas?
This is a great idea! I’ve never seen ornament cards before. Can’t wait to create some!
This YinYang is black & white, no background, so rest of ornament should be the actual cardstock color. And since white doesn’t print, that half of the symbol should also be the cardstock color. The previews seem to show that the three different cardstock choices are varying shades of gray you can compare to the white ribbon they’re hanging from. The previews on the tree, though, they all look white with no discernible difference to me. And the matte one on the wrapped present looks very white even though it is more gray in its other previews. So regardless of what the cardstock colors actually are, the previews aren’t showing it consistently.
I know previews are never perfect with shading & shadows and such but for these I think it’s important to know what the actual cardstock colors are - white or off shades of gray. If the cardstock is actually gray than yeah, that’ll mute the colors of the design printed on it.

I was a little confused when I first went to create one, I thought this was a CARD, with an removable ornament! I think it should be re-named, Shaped Flat Ornament or something similar, the word card to me always means greeting card, and I am a cardmaking crafter, (if I am purchasing some card base product it is always called, white card stock, or colored cardstock. ) the finished product is card! I give a card.
I think pairing a greeting/Christmas card and ornament would be fun,

I agree with you, but all 3 paper types are white (see paper details). Not gray. And especially not dull gray. I can guarantee, the final product will look like my adjusted variant. And I would NOT buy a product that is as dull as on the actual preview, except if it’s printed on special silvery or pearl shimmer paper, but this is a completely different story. If you look at the ribbon, it is also not white but grey.
It’s the same story we had (and still have but to a lesser extent) with the new cards at the revamp. Light designs looked dull but the printed cards look perfect. It’s the attempt to add some texture in semitransparent greytones and the lack of more sophisticated blend modes like screen or multiply that gives the designs a grey haze, when you put them over the image. It’s ok if it’s a slight adjustment burt this gray is way too dark on all papers. Same story on the new square pillows previews, the gray shades are way too strong and make white and pastel tones look dirty.
Where are you seeing the paper type described as white? I looked at the details when I first saw these on the homepage as I wanted to see how thick they would be. All I see in the details is this
Matte = 150# GPA Dull Cover
Superfine Eggshell = 120# Mohawk Superfine Eggshell Cover Paper
Pearl Ice = 110# GPA Pearl Ice Cover – Pearl Ice Paper
which tells me the thickness is equal to or greater than a postcard (110 or 120 depending on whether it’s matte or semi-gloss) but if it’s also telling me the color I don’t understand what I am reading?
A greeting card with a perforated, punch-out ornament would be awesome. I think this is currently merchandised to be used more as a gift tag than a greeting card, but I could be wrong.

Look at the pictures in the “Compare Paper” details. Did also a quick Google search with the paper specifications, these are all white papers. It seems the Pearl Ice is Italian and has a shimmery tone, still white. Found this description on a site called printpapa): “It shimmers! It sparkles! It glistens! Our Pearl Paper will make any design radiate with brilliance. They create a stunning visual effect giving a luminous appearance right through the printed image. This is a great paper for invitations, postcards, greeting cards, and more.”
P.S. not saying they shall make it pure white, but not that overly dark grey. Make the background darker and the paper lighter and it can still have some greyish texture on it. In-situ are fine.

That’s what I had imagined as well. Maybe Card Ornament would work for a title?

How about adding silhouettes of a boy and a girl to be used for birthdays? And a truck and ballerina or mermaid shape also for use at birthdays. And a stork for baby showers? Or even a plain circle or square shape? Zazzle could really go to town with an expanded line that includes shapes that can be used for events other than Xmas.
