Findings While Updating Pinterest Boards/Pins

This is just a thought for those of you who promote other creator’s products on Pinterest. I have seen this happen other times I’ve done board updates but it seems more prevalent this time.

I have been reworking/updating some of my Pinterest boards recently. While checking/verifying links to products that I promote, I’ve noticed a greater number of products that are no longer in the marketplace.

In some cases, a product is simply gone but the store is still active. In other cases, the link sends me to the grid here on Z of products (minus the product I promoted) that we see when coming here from a pin but I can’t tell if the store is still active.

Just thought I’d pass it on.

That is a pain. Do you think Zazzle might have hidden the products because of a lack of views over the last 15 months?

There are probably a variety of reasons that I can think of such as the creator removed it, store closed and hidden due to lack of activity.

I promote other designers products on pinboards and blogs and on blog the image holds but the link referral opens to the zazzle marketplace, in the browser it still shows the referral so I am assuming I get the referral if they buy another product not certain, and pinterest I have the same thing, product has been deleted, and reroutes to home page marketplace. @PAZP are you deleting the link ?

@susang6 Yes, I have been deleting the link because personally I would move on if I was “misdirected” to something I didn’t click.
I was also checking to see if some of those links with the TC code were not going to the product BUT thankfully I have not found that to be a problem.
