I have this strange thing going on in my design tool. The FRONT view now shows what’s on the foil layer (WHICH IS WONDERFUL! THANK YOU ZAZZLE!) but it doesn’t update when I change something on the FOIL layer! The first image is the foil layer- I replaced the seashell with seahorses. The second picture is the regular front layer, which is still showing the shell!
I am sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue here. I have not been able to replicate the issue on my side. I am seeing the seahorses on both layers, can you please let me know if you are still experiencing this issue and we can certainly get it looked into.
@Megan After I published it, the front layer updated. However, I just tried to replace the seahorses with a starfish, and the same thing is happening. I don’t know how to share a work-in-progress that isn’t published, so you can see what’s going on.
That’s the way it’s supposed to work- it’s like an uneditable ghost image on the regular layer, so that you don’t have to guess or jump back and forth from the foil layer to the regular layer. But the problem is that when you UPDATE something on the Foil layer, it doesn’t update on the regular layer.
I took a look at the design in your account and I cannot seem to replicate the issue. I also tried to recreate the issue on a test product but was also not able. Is it still an issue for you?
@Mark It seems to have updated itself overnight. I think maybe there was just a temporary glitch somewhere. Maybe my browser. Thank you for checking it out, though!
I am still having this issue. The foil layer is showing on the front layer. But the elements are unable to be edited or reviewed. As you can see here, there is showing only 2 design elements on the front layer, but the front layer preview shows the whole design
and then you cannot access to edit/remove the things that are showing up on front layer inocrrectly. Design maintains a grainy gray overlay even when set to no filter
