Guest Books Gone from my store

I have 21 guest books in my store and 13 of them are missing now. I’ve included a link to one of the products so you can see the page that comes up when clicking on the product.

I tried doing a search in the marketplace for funeral “guest books hydrangea” and it shows up in the marketplace but then when you click on the item it takes you to the error page. 

I’m using the latest Google Chrome viewer I also checked on Microsoft Edge and this is happening as well. I tried looking at other guest books in the marketplace created by other people  and it’s happening on many of them as well.

This is happening both when I click on the product from the back end or from the public store view.

A friend of mine with a shop told me last night many of her guest books were missing and she was getting the error page I am. I decided to check mine today. 

I had them all published on the standard size and not any of the new sizes. Some I worked on recently to add cover photos. Others did not have cover photos and were made in previous years. Some of those are deleted and others I can see.

Some of the guest books had sales in the past and those are deleted. Others did not. Some without sales have also been deleted.

And it was set as 10.5" x 8.25" (which I hadn’t changed it too) - I changed it to back to  11" x 8"  size and the link became live

edit to add - with the new guestbooks - it’s not centering the design from the 11 x 8 but I suppose that’s another thread

Thanks for the information, Sara. I’m going through one store right now and all of mine were changed to 10.5’ x 8.25". Some designs looked okay but the error came up if I tried to view them publicly. Others didn’t fit the cover appropriately and looked bad. I just changed them all back to the 11" x 8". Time consuming to say the least.

@PAZP   I hope the smaller size isn’t going OOS and that’s why they auto changed to the larger size. But like you said, the designs don’t transfer over perfectly. The other sizes are not available on the international domains yet (if ever)

I had the very same thought but decided for now it was better to at least have them show at 11" x 8" rather than seeing “Product designed by … is no longer available” on a whole page of them.

Thanks so much for this info. Yes, it looks like my guest books were auto changed to 10.5" x 8.25" and that is what caused the issue. I just changed a couple back to the smaller size which I made them at and they are showing up now. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This thread reminded me to change mine and make sure they were listed.

I changed to 12 x 12 because I thought they looked better square - they are now gone, it says everything is gone. lol

Yes that worked for mine too, but I want them 12x12 now that I’ve decided on that 🙃

I had 93 beautiful guest books in my wedding store.  That was reduced by 63 today leaving me with this title on ALL of the remained:  s guest book/  They are all different images and text.  Do I now need to individually change the titles in Edit

I also meant to add that the 93 are GONE and I can’t even redo them to a correct size.

@DiamondWillow   they should still be in the back end of your store. You’ll need to edit each one via “product merchandising”/Change options and select the 11" x 8" then submit to save.

I just checked your wedding store front and it’s very strange that the foil wedding guest book titles have changed

Yes I plan on it for sure.  It means doing each one separately since they are all different.  Pardon my ignorance, but where is the backend of my store.

When you are logged in, it’s under your store’s products tab.

Hi All, I saw all of my guest books have notification of discontinued product options. But when I check the product pages, it looks normal and no discontinued mark as usually. Is Guest Book Really Discontinued? Please advise, thanks.

I just noticed today that mine are also listed as discontinued. Argh!

I just painstakingly changed mine all back 11" x 8" because they looked poor at 10.5" x 8.25". They still say discontinued in the backend for both of those sizes though.

@Claire   Check back in a few days - it takes time for them to update (indexing) . If they haven’t  changed - list the products so that the Tech Team can investigate

I had the exact same issue. All of mine were published at 8x11 and had changed to the 10.5x8.25 size.

Not sure if i have any missing, but I changed all of the ones I could see back to 8x11.
