I’ve been trying to change royalties before the 20th and Zazzle’s system seems to be providing nothing but resistance. I’ve been changing the % 204 at a time, clicking on “done” and the page just sits there. I don’t think it’s my internet connection as other sites are working completely normally. I’ve tested changing royalties using Safari and Firefox and have the same issue. Given that we can only make changes once a month combined with all of the ongoing royalty change issues reported a few weeks ago where royalty changes weren’t sticking and didn’t go through, this is again troubling and aggravating.
If you’re changing that many at a time, would it maybe not be easier just to change your default royalty and check the box to apply the new % to existing products as well?
At any rate, there are couple of products where the royalty is fixed at 5 or 10%. Value phone cases, espadrilles, and some of the now-discontinued face masks come to mind. If any such products are included in a group select to change to an amount above what is allowed for that product, it won’t work. There’s usually a little pop-up error message saying something like “the max royalty you can set is 10%” with no other explanation that that applies to only the one product type that was in the group. Is it possible that is your issue but you’re not getting the pop-up error to due to a blocker of some sort?
Has the ability to check if you’ve made a royalty change prior to the 22nd that is pending changed? I’ve just tried one or two products and there used to be a way to check if the change was pending by looking at the Actions > Edit Details > Royalty Information screen. There is no indication that I made the change.
Hi @Zorinda , I would be 99% sure these have been successfully logged, as I can see your activity from today. But let me see if i can get the log and confirm.
I have just noticed something unusual. Upon checking my royalty rates change from last month the product still showed the old royalty rate in the Newest sort. Those products with old rates did not filter to the top when using the “Highest to Lowest” royalty sort as they should have.
I looked at those unchanged products in the “edit details” filter and they all had the new rate. So I selected them again (they all showed the new rate) and hit submit and they automatically changed to the new rate set last month.
