Hi I am writing from Italy, I would like your help, I am having problems with
filling out the w8 form,
they tell me that I have to check and correct section 10,
( Please revise the ““Additional Conditions”” on the last section in line 10. It would
help to keep in mind the type of income you receive from Zazzle. It may also help
to refer to the type of work you provide to the Zazzle website.)
I would like to know how I have to fill out part II of the form, what I have to write
not wanting to leave it blank.
if anyone can take a screenshot of the correct form how to fill it out, so I can see.
I’m from Italy, the article is 12(3) and the rate 0%. For the rest, refer to my post. This should work, if not, check other suggestions from other designers in the same thread.
There is a change in the newest IRS form. Line 6 is now split in 6a and 6b. Fill in your codice fiscale in 6a and leave 6b blank/unchecked.
edit: You MUST fill in part II to get the exemption, in no case leave blank.
I have mentioned what to write in Part II / Line 10 in my walkthrough. You will probably have issues or forgot to fill the parts “Type of Income” and “Additional Conditions”. Here they are again:
Type of Income:“Royalties for the use of artistic work” or similar
Additional Conditions: This part is where most struggle and that causes most rejections. Write something like “Creation of artistic works (designs) sold on Zazzle online web stores on a range of goods.” (worked for me).
Make a screenshot of the whole part II / 10 part of your form and post it here so I can have a look. Erase/blacken your personal data before you post it.
HI Fiorenzo yes, in fact, you are right, I had forgotten a small step that I had not noticed that needed to be filled in, exactly the one you are referring to. thanks again, hope everything goes well this time 🙂
