Help with Positioning Images

Hi Everyone! I am familiar with the align tool for aligning to the “artboard” (the other alignment options are always grayed out), but I’m wondering if there is an easier way to position your images and text to be a certain distance from that green dotted line or from each other. For instance, I have a circular image within text surrounding it, and would like both the same distance from each other all the way around, and the text that same distance from the green border, I’m currently just using my stylus and eyeballing it, which is not working out.

Align to Selection will be grayed out unless you have more than one object selected.

Thank you, Windy. I was just playing with the template, and I think I made selections and aligned the image / product  I mentioned by aligning to selection, then merging the two items, and finally aligning to the art board. Does that sound like the correct procedure?
