Hidden collection

I am seeing my hidden collections (Just the 3 cover images) when I view my store without logging in.  I did not think they would display at all if hidden. 

I logout, then view my store as a customer and under the Collections Tab my one public collection is shown next to the 120 others.  That is not what I expected.

More confusing is that when I am logged in and and view Public Storefront they do not display under the tab. only the one Public Collection. 

So what does the customer see?

I see 121 collections on your profile page, and with that, I see the name of each collection,  the number of items inside it,  and three images showing me some of what’s inside. However, when I click the collection to see it, I see nothing.

Is that the way Zazzle is supposed to display hidden collections?  I thought if they were hidden no customer could see them.

I too am surprised ! I would not have thought they would be viewable at all. I find it to be a big problem.
