How can I calculate my total income from sales for 2022?

I want to add up all the income from sales in 2022.

I know that I can go to the Earnings section (Referral & Royalties), put in the relevant time periods and then download the cvs file. I’m using Open Office so I can then select the relevant column, remove any ** and then apply a Sum function to the column.

But when I do this I don’t get an accurate total.

Is there an easier way to access this very basic piece of information - total sales for 2022 (up to 28 December) ?

I do this as well, but I also go to my Payment History and add up my earnings paid out over the calendar year 2022.

Just add up all your PayPal payments. That is what Zazzle paid you.

Yeah, I guess, although there is a time lag between sales happening and money paid. But you’re right - I can factor that in.

But you said you wanted to know what Zazzle paid you. Until you get it from PayPal or by check, you haven’t gotten it yet. I do just for the sake of knowing what cash flow looks like keep a daily tally. Though I don’t go back and adjust for currency changes or anything but large cancellations, so I know it is an approximation. 

What are you trying to accomplish? I guess I figure there are only so many hours in the day and I don’t have time to contstantly check. The few times I have double checked Zazzle, everything has been fine.

What I’m trying to calculate is total sales for 2022 to establish the increase from 2021.
I didn’t actually say I wanted to know what Zazzle paid me, as I can easily calculate that.

I can download the CVS file, apply the Sum formula to add up the royalty column but I have to remove the ** and the $ sign so the formula will be set. But even when I do that the calculation is wrong. I know this because it’s way out.

No worries though - I thought there was a simple process that I was missing… :blush:

I have been trying to calculate my yearly sales the same way as you by removing the **s but it is so long winded, and usually wrong. However, this week I took a look at the History tab (under Summary). It is way simpler to use for calculations. 

I exported all my transactions (over 4 years)  as a CSV file and then used  Filter to select only the cleared transactions.

I tried using filter for the year in the date column, but because some of the dates are half on the left and half on the right , it didn’t pull all of them, so I selected all the transactions I wanted for 1 particular year and copy pasted them into a new sheet. Then I was able to use the Sum function for the royalty totals. 

I don’t know if this is a new tab Zazzle has added, or if I have missed it before, but it is the easiest way I have found to do this so far.  I managed to get my royalty totals and my number of sales to match up.
