i have some subcategories, when i go to put products in their subcategories
@tunescool From the backend or product page, select edit details > Categories area… > Store Category… Change …
You should be able to select from there the Category and then sub category.
That’s for existing products.
For new product, when on the page that comes up for title tags, etc, you will be able to go to the Categories area and place it in the proper sub category.

@tunescool Has enough time passed for indexing? I don’t see your wall art category in your store yet… so my guess is it is an indexing issue.

Very frequently lately, even after the subcategory shows up on your store backend, when you move a product there, it won’t show up for quite some time.
I can’t say how long. Sometimes it takes days/weeks, especially when changing the category after you post it. For me that takes longer than using the category you want when initially posting the product.

Your image shows that you are in the CATEGORY section. You state that you want to put products into sub-categories.
You need to be in the PRODUCTS section/tab to see the products in Sub-categories. The left navigator pane will show the main categories with the subs opening up beneath them when clicked.
As @PacifierCity stated, you add products on the edit page by choosing from the store/category dropdown list.
