How do I get traffic to my store and make sales

I’ve been promoting my works in my store on zazzle.com, but I have not been getting traffic from where I share the post or even from some friends I shared it with.

What do you think I’m doing wrong?

Below is an example of my promotion message to some groups and friends.

Can I post this in the group?

The problem is your tags. You need to have spaces between the words or you won’t get found. For example, don’t use fathersday as a tag. Use “fathers day”. On all your products that I looked at, you have tags that are many words with no spaces. Go into Edit, choose Tags and add spaces between all words. If a tag has multiple words in it, there needs to be quotation marks around the words, such as “fathers day”.

Also I noticed that everything you have made is religious but you don’t have any tags saying that. Christian, Christianity, Lord, God and religious would all make good tags. Also, any tag that is thelordismysheperd needs to be changed to “the lord is my shepherd”.

Once you make these changes I think you have a good chance of finding customers.

KeeganCreation ,thank you very much for that simple observation, I am greatful, but you see ,it means what is applicable in one company may not in another company. I’ve learnt something important here, and I’m very greatful for this.

Sometimes in Etsy, there are some tags that are called long tail tags,I was thinking its applicable to Zazzle too, that was why I was using long tail tags

Long-tail tags are applicable in Zazzle, too. They just need to be in the format that the previous responder mentioned above. Good luck with your store.

I’ve tagged all of my products using this advice but I still am not getting any traffic or sales on Zazzle. Could someone please help me see what’s missing? Store: chelfoto

I looked at your store and I see two problems:

  1. In several of the products, there is white space visible beyond the borders of the photo you used. The easy fix is to go into those products with visible white space and set the photos to Fill instead of Fit. This ornament is an example-https://www.zazzle.com/chicago_sparkle_ornament-256384826595242012    Unfortunately, you will need to re-publish any products that you do this to and then delete the originals. But it will make them more appealing to customers.
  2. Your tags, while accurate, are a little too generic. Using the example of the Chicago ornament linked above, there are 524 Chicago ornaments so yours will get lost in the shuffle. You have used a photo of what looks like the Cloud Gate statue in Chicago so you use “cloud gate statue” as a long tail tag (the quotes are necessary or it will be three words).  I’ve also heard it called the “bean statue”. Get really specific so that you will show up for anybody using these more specific search terms. Also, use all 10 allowed tags and don’t use the name of the product as a tag. If you can get really, really specific about where your photos were taken, you’ll show up in more searches.
