I’m still struggling to find ways to communicate with customers with a bare minimum of words, and I’ve been thinking that emojis might help to convey friendliness without taking up sentence space. Problem is I can’t figure out how to insert one. I know it’s possible because my customers use them all the time, but I can’t figure it out. Is this something that can only be done on a phone? Anybody know how to do it on a PC? Thanks!

If you’re on windows, hit the window key plus period - that should work. https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2018/02/05/windows-10-tip-get-started-emoji-keyboard-shortcut/

If you are on a Mac it’s control+command+space and the emoji box will pop up.

Thanks guys! It never occurred to me that this was an operating system sort of a thing. I thought it had to be built into the app/webpage somehow, so I was totally looking for something different!
@PAZP Thank you so much – I never knew that!!! 😊

On an iPad or iPhone it’s on the virtual keyboard. Bottom left corner. ![]()
