I don’t see a setting for turning off Aspect Ratio, like in the old Design Tool. I have cropping to do on Photos and I can’t. How do I turn off Aspect Ratio, for Cropping in the New Design Tool? Can anyone help?
I just want to add that if this doesn’t work for you, it’s because you had it turned on in the old tool, and now there is no way to turn it off in the new tool, even selecting Freeform. You’d have to find a product that still uses the old tool, and turn it off there.

I didn’t have it turned on in the old tool.
My images that are grouped in some products cannot be ungrouped, They are stuck.
There is no way to remove a mask. This is awful.
smkshops, I am so confused by this new design tool, I am not sure how to find anything anymore. I THINK I have a similar problem to yours. I use the square element quite often, removing the center to form a frame around my images. Usually, I need to resize the “frame” to fit my image. So simple in the old tool. I had a hard time ever finding
how to remove the solid center of the square element, but FINALLY did. But then when I went to resize the frame, when I dragged one corner or handle it enlarged the whole frame, stretching all sides! I think I clicked on every possible thing I could click on trying to find the solution to resizing as I did in the old design tool. Still have not found it. It is taking forever to do a simple postcard! Is this anything like what you are referring to? I never had to do the
aspect ration thing when I would do the frames–just on my photos, so I guess it is not the same? I am just thoroughly
confused by all this! Cannot imagine customers finding this routine better than the old way if I do not. Anyway, sorry I had no answer for you but another question instead. Just needed to vent.
