I thought that if I wanted to be notified of comments on threads I am interested in I would have to turn on RSS feed, follow the thread (or something else). It seems that the default is to send an e-mail whenever anyone responds - THAT’s a lot of e-mails. (about 20 in the last hour)

Go to your forum preferences: https://community.zazzle.com/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/user-preferences
And uncheck Automatically subscribe me to topics or reviews I participate in

For posts you were already automatically subscribed to, if you go into the post and click the drop-down arrow, there’s an option to unsubscribe.
Well - that didn’t seem to work. Still got an email about a response to a post. I just tried deleting the subscription under My Settings > Subscriptions and Notifications. Maybe that will do it?
I’ve just set the preferences to NOT automatically subscribe me to posts. Fingers crossed.
I have over 100 messages to delete from Zazzle.

I would like to turn off ranks. While this is a nice option for those who enjoy it and are able to mark their progress in this way, it’s not something I care for. I prefer to compete with myself and focus on improvements, not necessarily comparing it to others or getting rewards for it. The new techniques and skills learned are the real rewards.
The old forum showed in the sidebar under the poster’s name exactly how many posts they had made. 1 or 1,867 or however many … The new forum just uses brackets instead and a text label for the bracket instead of 1-25, 25-50 .. or whatever the brackets are. It’s not a competition or reward or progress marker; it’s just a post counter, same as we had in the old forum except it doesn’t show an exact number.
