How do you find recent responses in the Ideas/Suggestions

I scan the first 3-5 pages of each different arrangement (I am assuming all posts are in each different category).

I had one unread response when I went looking today. I scanned al 36 pages of NEW IDEAS and did not locate it. I closed out and saw that I Now had 2 unread. I went back and scanned HOT IDEAS ( I may have reversed the order of the scans). I finally found the 2 responses on Page 25!!!

Would it be possible to have a view sorted by LATEST UNREAD RESPONSE? And sort this by ASCENDING/DESCENDING DATE? I fear that many responses will be unread as the pages increase in number.

Yeah, this particular forum behaves oddly.  It tells you there are new posts/comments but you can’t find them unless you want to scroll all 37 pages. I gave up long ago and if I don’t see the new/bolded item(s) in one mouse-scroll down, I just click to “mark all as read” and move on. They encourage other designers to Kudo ideas they like to judge favorability but I suspect an awful lot of ideas (and comments on old ones) are going unseen by anyone but the Mods.

I look at page one and if the newest comment isn’t there, I mark the entire category read and move on. I got tired of scrolling page after page.

Also - when in the other threads (I sort by newest) - the NEXT arrow will take you through the new topics. This section, it is not operating that way.

Hi @BKMuir ,

The Ideas and Suggestions forum is a different format to the others so the same view options are not available.

The way I find the newest posts is to set the sort by option to new ideas.

@Mark   Thanks for your response. I do look through the NEW IDEAS sort, I believe that is where I found an elusive “unread” post on page 16, or 20. I will adjust on only scan NEW IDEAS and see if the frustration is lessened.

I just tried to ONLY read in the NEW IDEAS sort. Several posts were on the first page. The last unread post was on page 9. There has got to be a way to sort these items in a more useful manner.

There is still no LAST RESPONDED TO sort in the IDEAS & SUGGESTIONS  thread.

I check all threads every day and this is the one that consistently I can not locate 1-3 items (according to Zazzles calculations).

Today, there are 68 pages. I have 1 item that Z states I have not read. I methodically scan through each page, usually dividing 10-30 pages per day if there is something I can’t find. (1-20 on Monday, 21-40 on Tuesday, 41- end on Wednesday).  I only search the NEWEST and HOT IDEAS.  It takes 9 page down keys to scan each page, so that is 180x2=360 keystrokes each day, looking for one item. Usually it is a simple request/response that I am not interested in. However, sometimes this response is useful to me.

Zazzle: PLEASE create a usable sort with the LAST RESPONSE showing up first.
