why do i receive bell notifications for stores i do not follow? i would rather not as when i see a notification, i think i’ve made a sale. instead i get notice that an unknown store has posted 32 new items.

I just checked my settings, go to
your account>notification preferences >uncheck updates to stores I’m following.
Best solution i can find.. That would unfortunately eliminate any stores you follow, but which should eliminate the unfollowed stores notifications, fix one thing, break another

Pavlov’s dog would have bitten someone after the bell and 32, that’s no reward by any psych measurement, frustrating expecting a sale notification and getting that instead.

I don’t understand the function. Most of the stores I follow never result in a bell notification, even though some have created new products this year. And then I do get the occasional notification from new products in stores I do not even recognize.
I had to unfollow everyone I was following when I started getting email each time one of the people posted new products. It’s a shame since it’s a nice compliment to the person you’ve followed.
