How To Get To The Desired "Show Me" theme without having to scroll through dozens

I know it must be here somewhere–how to go directly to the “show me” topic in which I wish to post without scrolling through dozens of them to do so.   Is there a drop down list or a search box to take me there.  For that matter, I wonder the same thing about other depts. in the Forum.  Unless I am posting a new topic, how do I quickly get to what I am looking for without all the scrolling?

I click on the Start a Topic button and enter my search terms in the message header – for example, “Teddy Bears.”

If a Show Me thread on Teddy Bears already exists, it will show in the message header as a choice.
I’ll click on that choice and discard my message.

Clever workaround to the fact that the search bar does not currently appear on the Show Me page! I may start using that method instead of going back to the main page every time. https://community.zazzle.com/

@Windy , curiosity is the mother of workarounds. 😉

Outstanding! Thanks for sharing that. I was returning to the opening community page and adding search terms. This works fine.

On behalf of ALL of us, thank you WHS_Designs.  A real time-saver solution!

In trying to reply/thank WHS_Designs for the solving of my problem (how to avoid scrolling through all the previous posts, hunting fo the topic in which I wish to post,  I am obviously still not “getting it”—about how to do a reply to the specific person rather than to everyone.  I think another zazzler said to click WITHIN  the specific person’s box to reply to them.  To just do a general post/reply under a topic, click “reply”  bottom box area.  Clicking in WHS_Designs  to thank them for solving the problem, it did not seem to go specifically to them, but just landed among all the other posts below theirs with the solution.   And also, I evidently did something that made it duplicate my post.  Sorry about that everyone.   Just wanted to explain about the duplicate postings above.

@Shar-Ken

You’re welcome, and no need to apologize. This is a learning process for all of us, and IMHO, making mistakes is as invaluable as making progress! 😉

As always, simple when you know how, @Shar-Ken
Just type the ‘@’ symbol and you’ll get a list of names to choose from. The one you want should be in that list.

They’ll then get notified of the ‘mention’.

In case anyone is interested, I’ve got an alternative solution - a forum topics lister:

It’s actually part of one of my Nifty tools but I’d be happy to make it a stand-alone tool if there’s enough interest.

Right now, it’s limited to the _ first _ 100 topics in any forum. It’s a limitation of Zazzle’s rss feed mechanism for forums but I have mentioned it in the Techinical Issues forum asking that it should work with more than 100 or, at the very least, show the _ most recent _ 100.

If you think that’s a good idea, head over to that topic and give your kudo so Z knows we want it. Thanks :slightly_smiling_face:
Here it is:  https://community.zazzle.com/t5/technical-issues/rss-feed-of-forum-topics-is-limited-to-first-100-lt-item-gt-s/m-p/6370

@HightonRidley  !  So simple----Thank you so much! I should have figured that out but I guess I have been trying to figure too many things at once.  It is so good to have helpful people who are savvier than I tend to be about these things.
