How to: Mockups on Zazzle

I just wanto to share the steps I do in order to create a Mockup for one of my products on Zazzle:

  1. I very carefully select the products I want to create a mockup for, depending on the free mockups smartmockups.com offers. I discovered that they offer many free mug mockups, and some decent card mockups as well, among other mockups.
  2. I then go to the product I want the mockup created for, click on “Download” and then click on “Download design”.
  3. After having downloaded the design I go to smartmockups.com and select one of their free mockups. I click on upload image and upload the design from my computer. The next step is to edit the mockup - you can enlarge the design and / or move it. When I am satisfied with the result, I download it to my computer.
  4. With a free account the size of the downloaded image is not big enough for Zazzle images - so I have to enlarge it, using one of the free image enlargers on the web.
  5. Download the result again and now upload it to Zazzle via Media manager. Voilà, you’re finished.

I hope this has been helpful.

Thank you for explaining in detail.   very helpful

@ulla_hennig  Thanks so very much for your post. I have never heard of that site but I will definitely check it out now. Creating the mockups usually takes me way longer than the product design it self - thanks again and much success to you!!

Oh no!! :broken_heart:

Hmm, I guess it’s not so catastrophic if you are a Canva user (see https://help.smartmockups.com/article/99-closing-smartmockups for more details) and I believe most of us are. I have never checked out the Mockup section by Canva, I think I will do that tonight. Thanks again @ulla_hennig
