I have been following the guidelines given in a number of places, using the HTML, and when I get to the end it has this message:
“Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and submit the message when you are satisfied.”
The link sign is highlighted with this message:
“Correct the highlighted errors and try again
Highlighted area > insert edit link”
Is there anywhere I can go to get COMPLETE instructions in 1, 2, 3 order for posting in the forum?
Post it anyway, it should work fine. All I can figure is that there’s some CSS code in the HTML, and the forum software rejects CSS. However, whatever it is, when it’s deleted, it doesn’t affect our product images.
Many of us have met this frustration until we learned to click the reply button another time. I have to wonder if that whole message could be reworded so that that people would know they are being asked to accept the new code by clicking again.
Thanks Barbara, I’ve tried clicking reply a second time but it still will not post. What do you mean post it anyway? Should I be clicking somewhere else?
Agree I can’t figure it out, I share the link (a straight link from the browser) not a referral or BBcode, hit preview, and no product image is viewed, I cancel the show me share…
Share HTML link. Use three dots to open the menu above, which allows you to enter the code. then you get a warning. Hit reply again and you are all set.
I go to the link to this pop up and I share the html instead of the bbcode but it just comes out as a block of html? I want a picture and it to look like the old way which has become second nature. I don’t see a three dots menu at all. Why did they make this so complicated. I miss the old style of forums where you didn’t need to hunt around for answers either and you don’t get five million emails if you forget to uncheck a box.
Once you click the three dots you’ll see the HTML in the upper right corner. Click that and paste your HTML code in there. Here’s a screen shot where you’ll see it in the upper right.
