I cant access old design Desktop interface

I cant access old design Desktop interface today it started this evening. How do I access it? I can only access it in mobile version. Help :).

I don’t think you can :sad_but_relieved_face: It looks like we are all forced into it now as of around 6pm Pacific.

Oh wow thank you, this new look is so uncomfortable. Thank you for letting me know. That’s a real loss for Zazzle I think, it is extremely inconvenient to design in new products, I don’t think I can get used to it.

How disappointing. I got really efficient using the old tool and was happy with incremental changes and additions. This new one throws me for a loop and I can hardly get anything done. Still can’t figure out how to put the same design on both sides of a two sided product. With the old tool you could simply select all, copy  and then past on the back side. Zazzle, please give us the option of using the new or old tool for design.

Zazzle has shown designers repeatedly lately that they just don’t care what we think or how their changes affect us.

Very disappointing. I too feel like that. It feels very odd. Can’t really figure it out.

this is a mistake . . .  I have done some complicated things, but I suspect I will not be able to with this new version and that is a shame and probably a loss for them also  – since I suspect it will narrow our abilities.

I used the new tool for a while but switched back to the legacy viable tool. I was in the middle of a design when the tool switched tonight. They forgot to take out the “opt out” choice in the Ux, but it doesn’t work. Sigh. 

The new tool has a plethora of issues and limitations, and I’ve had stressful sewer and car issues limiting my time to wrangle with its buginess. I realize they warned that this new tool is coming no matter what, but I had hoped it would be after numerous corrections and updates. I’m also wondering why this change wasn’t announced?

This tool is not yet a “Minimum Viable Product” in project management speak. I’m usually an early tools adopter, but this rollout has been dysfunctional. I suspect I’ll be investing the bulk of my efforts elsewhere for a while. I realize this doesn’t hurt Zazzle one iota, but I know I’m not the only one who is frustrated and disappointed. I would hope that Zazzle is capable of better tools and communication.

Very disappointing, you are right “The new tool has a plethora of issues and limitation”. I am not able to do what I wanted to do in the old design interface and feel like my designer days are now over.

This is really disappointing. Apparently you can’t copy and paste or duplicate an element in this new editor. This is so frustrating :disappointed_face:.. why did they even have the need to change it​:person_facepalming:

I have copied and paste things in the new design tool quite easily. 

Just copy what you need from another design and paste it where you want it. The thing is you may not have the paste option active at first. Just refresh that page, go back into the design and the paste option will be active. For me it was.  Give it a try.

Same for me since today. AndI’m still unable to copy paste anything from my iPad without keyboard, because they didn’t correct issues or introduce workarounds before obliging us to use their new design tool. 
 So, I will create all my designs outside of Zazzle and as it has now become not easier than other pod platforms, I will also feed at the same time all my other POD platforms expecting a little more earnings doing that.

I think the customers using mobiles and tablets will have the same problems, but apparently it doesn’t stress anybody on Zazzle side. 
Hope it will be more rewarding for me regarding the time spent.
