I Changed Store's Name but URL Is the Old Name

Good morning,

I changed the name of one of my stores, but the URL reflects my store’s old name.  How do I change the name on the URL?

@whimsywhim  Unfortunately you can’t change the url of your store only the store’s name. You would have to create a new store (if the URL was available that is)

NOOOO!!!  That’s crazy!!  I can’t cuss up a storm here so I’ll just have to heave a heavy sigh.  Thank you for your information.

I don’t wan’t my original account name and url to show. Can I open a new account with url that are more suitable, and delete the first. Are new here :wink:

@Zazzledesigner  you don’t have to open a new account - just open a new store with the name you want (if available) You would then have to republish your products to the new store and hide the other store and products.
