I Don't Understand Royalty Rate

Update: I just recalculated and the royalty came out to around .25 cents  so I guess thats about right, but I have always wondered, why are the royalties always a few cents off give or take?

I am trying to understand how my royalty came out to only .22 cents on this sale. It came through a third party. Do some third party sites take more than 20% now?

@MissPaperFarm Sometimes a customer adds an icon, background or perhaps also an envelope, rounded corners etc. to their order and those extra features will be subtracted (or added) to your royalty. I believe. This matter had me tripping too at first, smile. I’m sure someone else can explain it much better than me.

No.
If you are willing to share the product, I can probably show you exactly how it came out to $0.22.

sure, this was the product - https://www.zazzle.com/z/4ekl1gri?rf=238571462288656584

When that is the case, you will see your royalty rate reduced on the royalty history report.

So, for example, if it is normally 14.9%, you might see 14.6% instead.  If there is no royalty reduction, then there was not any secondary content addd to the product.

Was cut-off from your screenshot, but the customer bought two cards at 25% off. They paid a total of $5.84 (the 5.26 + .58 shown in your screenshot). The .58 is the .12 for removing logo and .17 for envelope, times 2 cards. Since your royalty is the same 5% as the User Option 5%, the UA doesn’t effect the outcome much.

I’m still not exactly sure what all the “user options” are that go into the 5% user options royalty rate
