I never created a mock up I couldn’t figure it out.

I never created a mock up I couldn’t figure it out. But it makes your stores so pretty. Anyone else who doesn’t know how to create a mock up? Or everybody creates them?

There are several ways you can do it. I usually use Photoshop, but a lot of people like Canva for mockups. Using AI like Gemini is also a popular choice. And there are also a lot of commercially made mockups on sites like Etsy (where I usually get my Photoshop mockups from). Some people use sites like Place-it, but you have to watch out, because not all their products match the exact products that Zazzle sells.

Thank you Connie, it sounds so complicated to me you wouldn’t believe it. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

PlaceIt is mostly good for t-shirts.

Thank you, are they are all payed sites? I just used Placeit and was so easy to create a mock up! Wow! How do I actually upload it to Zazzle product to sell it with the mock up?

There are two basic methods:

  1. Download the actual art and upload it to premade mockups from PlaceIt or Canva or buy premade mockups from places like Etsy or CreativeFabrica.

  2. Download one of Zazzle’s in-situ images. These have a background which you have to remove. Then put in your own background. AI is pretty good at generating backgrounds, such as Google Gemini/Nano Banana.

Thank you that’s were I get lost :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Something to keep in mind is that you don’t have to make a typical “in situ” type mock-up that requires putting the product into a real-life type scene. You can use just the image of the product from Z and get creative with other ways to make a unique cover for it yourself.

Sounds nice. How do you add the mock to the selling products?

At the top of the product page is a tab called Product Media Manager. Click that and it gives you a place to upload the mockup you made.
