When I was young, my Girl Scout troop made napkin holders with tiles. You glued a strip of wood to the wrong side of two tiles at the bottom and you had a napkin holder.

It was actually meant for designers to use as an idea to sell tiles. Customers can have a coordinated set of placemats, mugs, paper napkins, and homemade napkin holder. Just explaining.
