So I am basically excluded from the collection contest because I don’t do social media?
Really, I’ve tried it without any success and don’t want to waste my time there.
I am a designer and want to focus on creating content and with ALL the added requirements already loaded on my plate, I need a staff of at least 100 people to comply with all of that.
Thank you for understanding.
You can share your collection on my site here and that way no social media account is required as from my site ‘I’ will share your collection for you to all my social media!
No. The Terms and Conditions of the contest mention sharing in section 2A
A. Design and develop moments (Birthday, Baby Shower, Wedding and holiday) products, collections, cover photo and social content. Collections must contain a minimum of seven (7) products. Submit collections, products and social content via this form. Products and collections must be published on Zazzle and collections must be created new after 12:00 AM PT 8/2/2023. Majority of the products in the collection must be new. Social media posts are required to be submitted as part of the form to win one of the Ultimate Moment prizes, and they must be posted on one or more social platforms (i.e., Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, and Pinterest).
Hate to say it, because Zazzle has been pretty good to me over the years. But, I’m a truth teller by nature. So here goes… I TOTALLY AGREE with what you said about there being too many things to have to comply with here on Zazzle. Both my shops are a mess because, well, I had to choose between creating good products or having a nice tidy shop because I didn’t have the energy to do both. And I recently stopped putting so much time and energy into posting on social media because (like you said) it just isn’t worth it for the amount of time you spend vs the reward you get in return. However, to work around and share at least something, i got the pinterest button for chrome and share new products that way. I like it because you just push a button in the corner and you’re sharing is done. i don’t get very much engagement, but i’ve done my part to share.
Thank you so much, @CreativeLeahG
That is so kind and generous of you! I will keep it in mind as my current collection does not seem to fit in with your blog content, but may add another one.
Thank you Scott and everyone else for your input, much appreciated!
Totally understand your concern, social media isn’t for everyone and it’s tough when contests depend on it. If you’re looking for a more professional way to showcase your work, consider building a personal site. You canexplore this design service as an option.
