When i do an in store search for my pedestal signs only 3 of the c. 50-60 i have show up. When is do the search through the departments they do show up. All products are made around the same time period (months ago), so that shouldn’t be the issue.
It’s annoying as it is often hard to know/find out where a product is categorized. It’s so much easier to just search for “pedestal sign”, esp. for customers.
when I do a search in the backend for “pedestal sign” or “pedestal” (minus the double quotes), it comes up with no pedestal signs in the search results.
the only way I can find them is either by entering the generic search term “sign” (where they end up buried amongst the other forms of signage – e.g. banners) or via Categories, which I organize by Product Type (in this case, Pedestal Acrylic Signs) as opposed to a specific Theme (e.g. Weddings, Graduations, etc.).
