Inconsistent availability and use of shortened URLs in the "Link to this" dialog

The “Link to this” dialog seems to show a shortened associate ID URL for some products, but not for others.

For example, I’m shown a non-shortened (i.e., not a https://www.zazzle.com/z/…) URL in this product’s “Link to this” dialog:

This other similar product, however, has a shortened URL in the “LINK” area. It also seems to use the non-shortened URL in the “HTML” and “BBCODE” areas, though:

Could the shortened URL always be provided in that dialog, for all products?

I’m not to sure if this is a technical issue but I have passed it on to the team to see what info it available.
