Incorrect Royalty Calculation

I am creating a new product, but when I enter the royalty percentage, the results are not anywhere near correct. I wish I could share a screenshot, because frankly it’s hard to believe the discrepency.

If I set the royalty percentage to 20%, I am given a royalty amount equal to 8%.

If I set the royalty percentage to 10%, I am given a royalty amount equal to 6%.

How can that be right? It’s making me very suspicious of Zazzle. Can anyone affirm that this platform deals fairly with artists and pays the amount we ask for?

I haven’t had this issue and I’ve been with Zazzle since 2009. I’ve always known Zazzle to be honest.

Can you be more specific with the products you are adding 20% and 10% to? And any percent 15%+ will have a small “transaction fee” taken out.

Hi @abyek ,

I’m very sorry to hear tat you are experiencing an issue here. Can you provide a link to the design you are experiencing this issue with and perhaps a screenshot displaying the error so that we can investigate this further for you?

Thank you for your patience!

You might find this post by ColsCreations really helpful as sometimes there are quite a few different factors involved (referral fees, customer discounts, user option fees etc).
