Is it Profitable to Post Zazzle Products on Instagram?

I posted my products on Instagram for a while (only about 1-2 times a week), and I didn’t receive many views or followers - and I received very few comments. So, I put Instagram on hold, since Zazzle is becoming increasingly more work — and with reduced royalties on top of that.

Has anyone here seen good results with posting on Instagram? Should I just move on permanently from Instagram and only focus on Pinterest? I have to focus my efforts on products that sell and social media platforms that help me drives sales.

Thanks!

@Jadendreamer13   You can set your instagram posts to post to pinterest automatically so that’s a two birds one stone (setting is in your business pinterest account under claimed websites)

I find instagram useless as once it’s gone through the feed of your followers - it’s never to be seen or interacted with again and it just becomes a grave yard of your old posts

Whereas pinterest is a visual search engine where your promos will live on and be searchable for as long as pinterest is around (provided you’ve sucked up to the pinterest gods by feeding it SEO that it likes which is different to instagram’s) plus you can tag zazzle products (again need a business account for that) which I’m sure is useful for would be buyers.

IMHO - Focus on being the best pinterest user ever and learn what you can about pinterest specific SEO and sack instagram

I had some success with instagram several years ago, but things have changed and I don’t find it worth the effort at this point. It’s really a shame!  But as Sara said, setting your posts to go to Pinterest is a good idea if you do use IG!  That said, the real benefit to using IG is in Zazzle seeing your posts.  Catch their eye and they may repost you in their stories or on their feed.

My AI helper has advised me not to link my Instagram account to Pinterest. Unless you are not interested in selling but want to increase your followers on Instagram. “He” has also advised me to post 2-3 times a week on Instagram, just to be present.  But maybe the advice only applies to my business.

@Thunes_Designs   Yes AI helpers are individual to their users and what one AI helper advises may not be the ideal solution for another.

Followers these days are pretty meaningless and it’s all about being fed posts that users have shown interest (or searched for) in the past. So less “Social Media” more “Interest Media”

I give up what is an AI helper? Is it a real person using AI or is it a helper made up by an AI program.

I come from a different world where getting your name and business out was the name of the game – so I post all over – and recently added “X” (where I forgot I even had an account).  Somehow I’ve seen more “none” and some “self’s” which says something is happening or different.  It doesn’t take me a lot of time and there is usually not a one-to-one relationship between what I’ve posted and what has sold – but perhaps it makes someone come to the site and look. I also use Tailwind – that takes more time, so I have a tendency to work that in batches.  I obviously think it is worth the time to do it all – I keep working on trying to make it more efficient.

Instagram is a social media platform where everyone goes to talk about themselves. You have a to talk about yourself and be more “out there” for people to follow you. Though in the past 12 months the ads are coming fast and furious, now more than ever your posts (if they are seen) are drowning in ads. Posting a product on Instagram one after another isn’t going to cut it.

I think it is just an AI program- like Gemini, which says it’s our personal assistant.
