Before the latest design tool update with the “Continue Your Design” popup, I could make a change to a design and then use the share dialogue to copy a link that would open in the edited version of the design without publishing it as a new product. This feature came in handy for assisting customers who needed a very small tweak to a design. But with the new popup, I can’t seem to make this trick work anymore. Like there’s no way to get back to the product page with the edited version.
Am I missing something, or has this feature been removed?
I think I may have answered my own question. Looks like the only way to get to the product page with the edited version is to add it to your cart. Seems like a clunky and confusing work-around - especially if I’m trying to get a customer to send me their customized version so I can see whatever issue they might be having.
It would be super helpful if we could access the share dialog from within the new design tool.
I just tried on this keychain. I made a simple edit (changed the background color on the front to purple) - and then on the Review tab I clicked Share from upper right
And that link works for me as me in Firefox and also as a guest in an anon browser (Opera), for going to the edited version. I didn’t worry about going back to the first tab with the orig product page on it, just clicked to edit, got the link, and closed whatever tabs that opened LOL.
I just murdered one of your wedding invites to test editing and sharing as a customer.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean, but if the design is in your saved designs, it should stay there. That’s how I’ve always done it. I haven’t checked on my computer, and I don’t have it with me right now. I haven’t had that problem.
It’s on the very upper right. Try changing your window size and/or browser zoom level or maybe just dragging your whole browser window to the left. Depending on how I size and position my browser window, that Share option can be off-screen and out of sight.
Hmmm… well, it seems like it’s a browser issue. If I’m in Chrome or Edge I can’t get the link to matter what I do, but if I’m in Firefox it shows up. No clue what that means. Hopefully a Moderator will see this and chime in.
I still can’t find the link to open the share dialog though.
