Is this normal to have only 1 view at every product?

Is this normal to have only 1 view at each product I created in 2 days? Anybody else noticed that? Usually I have different amount of views with every product. And I can’t find them on Zazzle at all.

For the past almost year there has been some sort of glitch or bots that are causing false views. It’s actually not normal for brand new products to have 5-20 views in the first week, but that has become the norm because of whatever is happening. You can tell because it happens on items that aren’t even indexed into the marketplace yet. Usually there would be 0 views, unless you looked at your own item. But this situation may be causing the single view.

@Jo_P Thank you for your reply, I suspected it’s some sort of glitch :frowning:

Just want to remember on the question with the collection views and views at all. This fine collections has on Pinterest over 100 back links, but 0 views on zazzle.

I am really sad to say, but I lost any trust in this view informations. My zRank dropped during the day on 5, analytics and all other sources not really show different numbers. But, some things are never counting. Analyzed a lot of old and really old products, the one from 2009. Deleted the oldest and also deleted a log. Lost the imagination what is really the problem.

replied to wrong person …and can’t discard this

when I publish something new, I immediately share a manual pin on Pinterest, post it on Facebook with hashtags, and add it to Show Me. I can literally see people liking the new products in my feed. So in my case, those early views, before product is indexed are coming from actual traffic I’m sending.
But if someone does absolutely nothing to promote a new product before its indexed you may see a low 1 view or 0.

@doggenhaus Something is weird going on, everytime that happens when there are no views I loose motivation to design, sigh.

@Susang6 Got it! I will try that too. Thank you for sharing Susan.

The glitch persists today, some days I feel like giving up designing. I remember designing back to school products and the glitch lasted exactly before the school started and I didn’t even have a chance for customers to see my products before beginning of school, sigh. It was two weeks before and now again. The new Zazzle has a lot of technical issues that interfere with enjoyment of Zazzle.

As mentioned before… do something else! No one in the USA buys on labor day a lot online. It’s a special weekend.

Just try to do your work as ever and take some breaks to rest. Just do! Step by step, optimize, do new things, wash some clothes, the windows or your shoes. Do a walk, look around, take new photos of the world outside.
We all are not made to work 24 hours here. And the Zazzle employee’s also are just humans, need time to rest, are not 24 hours on duty.

Don’t worry: If it feels bad, we’re just not at the end of the story.

Are you promoting your products anywhere?

@KarinS Yep I am promoting on X and Instagram and my blog and Pinterest. But the counter is stuck on 1 only. Usually I have different views on all products. A glitch of some sort again :frowning:

@doggenhaus
Yep I went for a walk but I love my store and I am used to working on it all the time you know, it’s a hobby for me that I enjoy and with this terrible glitch I can’t enjoy it. Thank you for the support you showed, I appreciate it.

A question to everyone else here: do you use the automatic Pinterest link—the one you get from the “Share” button on the product?
I just can’t figure out how it’s possible that my collection has 0 views despite 94 backlinks.
It feels like it would be more effective to use the RF links, add a code to each link, and track them more accurately. I’m honestly feeling pretty disappointed.

@doggenhaus Yes I use the automatic Share link to Pinterest not manual without writing tags, may be the hashtags are helpful, they sure are helpful on Twitter X and give more views.

I used to share my Zazzle products on Twitter and actually get views and customers from it, but that changed completely when Musk bought the platform. X is now built around conversation, politics, and photos not product links. They really do frown on outbound links and most of them get buried so hardly anyone sees them.

You can still share there, but you can’t just drop a link with a short blurb anymore. You need a little intro, something conversational, and an image. And a mockup works better than a straight product shot because it fits the photo-first style X pushes now.

@Susang6 Great advice, thank you very much Susan. Really appreciate it.

Something is wrong with my account all new products and the older ones since I posted here most have 1 view. I still can’t find my newer products on Zazzle since I posted. May be I should reach out directly to Zazzle support, I waited for this to clear but it persists.

Would Zazzle team moderators help me with this strange problem. Thank you very much is advance.

If you create a product then view the product page a view will be recorded. It can take a bit of time for the indexing to pick up the newly published product, so you’ll be at 1 view for a short bit of time. Once the product is visible in the marketplace then views may increase as people come across your products.

I just want to add my own problems with the views. If I see at a product on pinterest this:
Bildschirmfoto 2026-09-12 um 02.09.16

why do I see on the linked product this:

And don’t ask about collections. Now views, where I have over 100 on pinterest.
