I have a question is this sweatshirt style short or long? Anyone ever bought a sweatshirt on Zazzle? On this Zazzle mockup on the model it appears long but on product itself style appears short.
When I create a mockup myself the App also picks it up as a short sweatshirt. Somewhat confusing to the customer I believe, because it confused me and the App I used for mockup. Please help me sort this out, I have a lot of sweatshirts for sale and none was sold but received many likes. Please help me solve this mystery.
I also hope our moderators will have an answer for me. Somebody who sells them too their thoughts and opinion. Somebody who may be bought a sweatshirt. Zazzle designers their opinion matters to me. Hoping to get some answers.
I don’t know if it helps you, but near the size selection you have a link to the size chart and when you open it, near each size there’s width an length in inches or cm.
@Veselka_Store In my opinion it’s the customers responsibility to purchase the correct size for them and as @Fantabuloustef mentioned the size chart is definitely helpful.
As a person who has bought several sweatshirts on Zazzle I can say that the quality is fabulous and I will continue to buy again from Zazzle if I needed some more. But I’m easy, while I’m rather slim (and short) I always buy them in Adult Medium and they always fit me perfectly (meaning exactly how I like them - a bit loose on my body).
Thank you @MOM for your information, I will be measuring as soon as I get a measuring tape. Tell me please how is the fit for your body type is it long, medium or short? Or is it you think going to be different for different body types depending on the customer, size and the measurements Zazzle provided? That’s great news that you like them, awesome, I have confidence now in my products.
@Fantabuloustef Thank you for the tip, I measured myself, it’s definitely long but in Zazzle mock up appeared as short, size measurements solved the mystery.
@Veselka_Store For my body type (slim and short with small bone frame) the sweatshirts are medium length. Maybe some bigger or heavier boned people will chime in here. I have a friend (male) with my body type and he buys the sweatshirts in Adult Large.
Yes, I also think it’s quite long, but I didn’t want to talk about it, because I’m used to European sizes standards that are different from US ones, so let’s keep it simple.
@Fantabuloustef It’s long for me and I am 5”8 so I had no choice as to remove my mockups, unfortunately. I think it’s an old style of sweatshirt when the longer sweatshirts were in, fair enough, now it’s easy to assume that on other clothing the models have it right not the mockups of the product itself, good to know, glad we gotten to the bottom of that, I will try. to create my mockups accordingly too. And it’s not only about the mockups it’s good to know what I am selling too

I’m really sorry you have to re-create all your mock-ups for them. It’s always frustrating when we do a lot of additional work and have to restart everything.
@Fantabuloustef Thank you. I honestly don’t mind that much it’s just the sweatshirt looked prettier shorter in my mockup that’s true. I am happy though no customer will be mislead by my product that is not short and my mockup you know. I just created a new mockup but the sweatshirt doesn’t look pretty at all. I will probably stop designing them, that long is not in trend anymore, too bad as they sound nice @MOM said
Here’s what I’m familiar with, regarding short or long… the “short” is basic and normal. Many girls (here in my Southeastern GA area) buy oversized, so that it droops on them, wearing it any time of year. And, I was familiar with selling a “crop” sweatshirt on another pod, which shows the mid-waist area, which is commonly seen on those exercising, etc. If that helps you.
@LauraLee I previously had a store on Etsy so I gotten familiar with Printify that makes products and sells for them, they have many styles of sweatshirts. I meant the short at the hips not the cropped one, I wouldn’t sell them if they were here or popular and they were popular with youth I remember a few years ago. So I am guessing the youngsters still like the oversized sweatshirts, that is good to know. On the Zazzle product picture the sweatshirt didn’t appear long but the measurements that one of people pointed to me solved this problem and showed it to be a long sweatshirt rather than short at the hip. I like to see both styles on Zazzle the ones that are medium length at the hip which I call short and long, since they are still popular with many , thanks for pointing this out.
