Is Zazzle Royalty Payments By Checks Just For Us Based Creators

Hello, I’m trying to find out if royalty payments by Checks is just for US based Creators. I’m a designer and live in Africa PayPal is difficult to get paid from, i message Zazzle support for clarification on getting paid by checks since US Checks can be processed in my country this is the reply

*Please note that Check payments are available only to US-based creators, as checks can only be processed in the US.

Can other Countries Get Paid By Checks TOO, i am confused.

Best answer I found in zazzle help—-

Choose your method of payment

  • If your account is set to be paid in US Dollars, you may elect to be paid either by Check or PayPal.
  • For currencies other than US Dollars, a payment through PayPal is currently the only available option.
  •  For  non-US Creators/Affiliates , please ensure that your payee name matches the W-8BEN form that you were asked to submit in order to get paid.

 I’m in Canada and I get paid by check. To have the check option you have to sign up with Zazzle through their .com domain, if you sign up through an international domain for example zazzle.ca you only get the Paypal option.  zazzle checks are in US currency no matter where they are sent so whether or not you can cash it depends if your country allows you to cash foreign checks .

As far as I know zazzle makes Paypal payments only in US currency, whether it gets converted into another currency I think that depends on your Paypal settings. Maybe someone outside the US being paid through paypal can clarify
