Note I pinned something to Pinterest for a different affiliate program (not Zazzle) and the referral ID remained in tact when clicked through from Pinterest.
I’ve tried to follow this discussion, but it’s a bit confusing for me. Sorry if these seem like dumb questions … are you saying you are back to the 15% referral structure with your attached rf code? Does linkover history have something to do with this decision?
I’ve been getting 1000s of linkovers but very few referrals. I’m just not sure if linkovers are accurate for me.
Happy to help. The link from Pinterest is plain vanilla ending with the ?rf=nnnnnn
It seems like the epik parameter is created by Pinterest. (I don’t really understand this page, but maybe it will make more sense to you - something to do with ad tracking?)
Are you just using the share option to place your items on your Pinterest? I tried this and get a regular-looking link when i start a new session and go back to the product on Z. Have you added a third party tracking app to Pinterest?
I’m not adding anything extra, just the regular sharing from Zazzle. I shared someone else design to Pinterest just now and the link back from Pinterest to Zazzle also shows no referral code.
