Issue with Stroke Effect

With some fonts, when you give them a stroke effect, it only looks good in the design tool. When you check the preview, however, it’s no longer clean. As if you need to click “round join” somewhere to round off the corners.

How does it print? Will it look like in the design tool or as in the preview? And if it’s in the preview, can you change the stroke corner settings to “round join” instead of “miter join?” At least, that takes care of the issue in Illustrator, so I suspect it would be similar in this tool.

Thanks!

This is  an old problem already discussed many times on the forum and for which we never had clear answers . It seems it has never been properly and completely solved.

Hey @jophb ,
Thank you for the examples. I have reported the issue to the team and I will let you know when I hear back.

Really wish it would get fixed :sad_but_relieved_face: Not only does it show on the previews, but also on the downloads, so even if you make mockups/covers it is there.

I’m very curious about how it prints. Because if we at least knew it doesn’t print like that, we can always retouch the mockups.

Please no, I am already overwhelmed with all the bugs that never get fixed and need “workarounds”.
