Hey Tech, heads up, no one is going to pay this price for one little metal (aluminum) keychain…The exorbitant price may be on purpose till they are removed from blank products? Might have something to do with the price of aluminum, pricing them out of being carried by Z.

I noticed that the button keychains were discontinued, so questions for Mods follow—
@Scott Since the keychains are discontinued, the next items on the chopping block are magnets and pin buttons? Will z change the default selection choice to premium round since there are no low priced chains? Same question for magnets and pins. Why does this stuff always happen just before the weekend…

Something seems to be going on with keychains … I can’t find the button keychain to make one?
EDIT: Um, the button keychains have this message? “Sorry, this product has been discontinued”
That can’t be right.

OK that’s weird. I just sold 6 of them today! But if I go to the product it does indeed say it’s been discontinued! I hope that’s not for real - keychains are a huge seller for me!

It has to be a mistake. We don’t go from selling to discontinued in a day. That’s just crazy.
I sold 10 2 days ago. I went to the product page and it does indeed say discontinued. I also hope this is a glitch.

Although the metal circle keychain shows a price starting at $550 when you open the “Create Your Own” product to design, once you publish it, the price drops back to its normal realistic amount. I just tested publishing a couple of these to see what would happen with the price. It does need to be corrected for the base price that shows on the “Create Your Own” product page. I also noticed the button key chain products show “Discontinued Product Option” for all that I have published in my stores over the years.

Oh no!!! I just made a whole bunch of keychains a couple weeks ago! I hope this is just a glitch- keychains are some of my best non-paper sellers!

If they are indeed discontinued, the real bummer is that there isn’t another variety that we can easily transfer our designs too because both the aluminum and acrylic circle designs have a hole in the circle which messes up the design - at least it messes up most of mine! I guess I’ll have to re-work them all. Sigh.

They just started appearing in my backend as the aluminum style. I’ve never created an aluminum keychain before. I don’t like them. I do not like that they had a plastic tab that is over part of the design and no chain. The other issue is that they are double sided, so now those keychains all have a blank side, which I think looks silly.

YIKES! One of my best sellers now has the tab through the name as yours shows. Which means many of my others will have the same issue. 😪
We’re aware of the pricing issue. Thought it was cleared up yesterday but apparently not. Working on it now.

Can you confirm that the button keychains are actually discontinued? Are they all going to be migrated to the aluminum keychain option?
