Hey there Zazzlepreneurs!

You’ve been seeing a lot of content from me lately and I know it’s probably driven some of you up the wall, so apologies for that!!  I just wanted to introduce myself formally to give you some context.

I’m LeahG, Platinum Pro Zazzler (some of you know this already) and I feel it is truly an honor to be part of this wonderful Zazzle community.

My intention here is to share a little bit about how my journey might be able to lend a helping hand to your own path and to explain why ‘I do what I do’ and ‘am that I am’. 

I’ve had the incredible privilege of experiencing success within the Zazzle world, having been fortunate enough to stumble upon some strategies that yielded great results. I managed to double my earnings not once, but two years in a row, all within a mere three months. It was quite a revelation, and it got me thinking about how others could benefit from these insights.

One aspect of my journey that I’m both humbled and feel is important to share is that I’m on the autism spectrum, specifically with Asperger’s. This unique perspective has given me an uncanny ability to spot trends, analyze patterns, and dive deep into data. I’ll admit, this level of enthusiasm can sometimes be a lot to handle for others, including the patient folks at Zazzle (sorry @Scott  ).

I still chuckle about the time a Zazzle contact (sadly no longer with Zazzle   .. the lovely Elizabeth P) playfully nudged me to “focus on design,” reminding me to balance my data-driven approach after she was bombarded with my enthusiastic search result findings! 

But all this combined with my extensive business background and employment as a seo content creator before joining Zazzle is why I believe I can offer something to fellow Zazzlers that is a little unique and why my intention in creating my FREE course and content is rooted in a sincere desire to assist you fuelled by a life-long passion to teach. 

I do have a few monetized elements added (very recently) to my site with a few ads etc and there will be some low-cost content/graphic packs etc in the future. It is costing me a great deal with the site (including branding) and taking time away from my own Zazzle business (seeing sales drop as a result) and so if I want to continue doing this I do have to step-up and be realistic and I hope you understand and can be supportive of this. It is a lot of work as I am devoting 90% of my time to this.

Zazzle- please note the more Zazzle creators I am able to assist with my free course and content the more money you make!

I’m not here to make grand promises – my focus is on offering practical techniques and honest advice that I genuinely believe can make a positive impact.

If you’re seeking a way to enhance your Zazzle journey and navigate the vast landscape with confidence, I’m here to lend a hand. 

I’ve also recently started adding video/audio content to make it more accessible to those who struggle to read English (second language) or are Dyslexic etc. I hope to do more of that though I am not by any stretch of the imagination a natural at it! In fact being ‘aspie’ I find it quite difficult, but I hope to improve with practice!

Why on earth do you feel the need to apologize? Given the many desperate pleas for help on the forum lately, you are truly a godsend to many people here. Your advice is freely given and you have a proven track record. No one on this forum can complain that help isn’t available anymore.

LeahG, I just want to say that your courses and extras have been an eye opener for me.  I have learned so much and am thankful that you have put this together to help others.  Your content has been super helpful and I know it can help others that have questions and are looking for some guidance.  Thanks again for all your heard work and commitment!

ps. lots of members are finding the recent Keyword Compass and Google Trends guide very valuable - so if you want a quick way to make effective changes, have a peep at those two items. It’s about 8mins of reading (re both combined) so manageable and surprisingly easy to implement.  Linked re main page/menu.

Leah Let me preface this by stating that your content is A-1 and is needed valued and appreciated. Thank you. Seriously. You have been extremely generous in terms of providing loads of FREE and very valuable information most other self professed “Zazzle experts” charge and charge a lot for. Please DO NOT internalise the fact that there are some who are critical of you or your content. That is a reflection of them NOT you. You are impacting others in a positive way as others have stated. In closing I was wondering if you would consider creating NEW COLLECTIONS tutorials. Frankly I am still very confused about how to even begin a collection using the NEW COLLECTIONS system. Your subscribers and others would greatly benefit from your clear and concise teaching regarding collections. Including information about how to add apparel and accessories to new collections would be helpful as some of us do sell apparel and accessories NOT just paper products. Thanks in advance. Cheers.

The Keyword Compass is brilliant and is what all who are currently working on tags and descriptions should read through and practically apply to their own respective products. I myself did and I feel I have gained a clearer understanding of tags and descriptions. Very useful information. I like the way you broke down Long Tail, Short Tail and Semantic Keywords. May I suggest a tutorial about sharing collections on PINTEREST? This is a topic that needs coverage. There is a lot of confusion around how to share collections on PINTEREST.  Thanks again.

LeahG As I stated in an earlier post. Your content is needed, valued and appreciated. And know that you are not being overzealous. There is no need to apologise. The unhappiness is a reflection of others NOT you or your content which is A-1. No one should take issue with you or your content.

I have written something about Pinterest ( perhaps in the Pinterest category on the forum).

I am not overly confident in the ‘value’ of Pinterest as a referral tool (despite the fact I do pin everything) and so I don’t want to labor things that I perceive as ’ not being effective’. My philosophy is always to do what works and works well x 100! That said … I am currently ‘testing’ something new on Pinterest. I will have some news about that soon … hopefully! Early data … 1000+ views on ‘idea pins’ added a few days ago. BUT that might be the type of content, NOT the type of pin. So … we shall see … more testing required.

Re the collections, that is also on my radar but I am observing presently and waiting to see how it ‘functions’ before I have I can formulate a solid strategy and I’m ‘testing’ a few ideas. That will as such also take a while. 

But for yourself, I would ensure ALL your products are in collections and do not create a collection (for now) with more that 24 products because if everyone else’s page load experience is like mine (6 seconds before the next batch of products load after the first 24) I doubt the customer is going to hang around for that 2nd page load!

T-shirts, group by different designs for the ‘same theme’.

Same theme would be: 

Dad Birthday Tshirts

Fishing Tshirts

I’m a new Grandma Tshirts

etc!

There is NO value in having different ‘age ranges’ of birthdays in a single collection, so have all your 50th in one collections, 60th etc as people looking for a 50th birthday tee do not need to see the 60th, 70th? 

So apply this type of logic, always having the idea of ‘how will I solve the customer’s problem’ with this collection, at the front of your mind.

I can create a guide building on this, but re other things … we have to see how they roll it across other product types. My own collections need a ton of work, so I need to get on with this.

That’s great but you must also check out the Google Trends course content as that’s where you’ll grab all those juicy semantic keywords that Google apparently now loves so much!
