I think the Media sections could be enhanced and more useful to our customers with embedded links to the products featured.

I think she means the Media section that’s on our store’s main home page. The media gallery that can be scrolled through. I second the idea. Having a link on each media file that leads to the product would be really helpful. Right now, if a customer sees something they like, they have to leave the media section, navigate our store categories or take their chances with the store’s search bar. There’s so much space for them to get frustrated and leave. Instead, having them look and think “hey that’s cool”, click the product, then purchase would be so much easier.

That would be nice, but the link would need be one that we manually add because I don’t use single product images for my media section.  I have mockups with many product types in each one.  They could lead to collections or store categories, etc.  I am sure I am not alone in not using single product media photos.
