I’m fairly new to this new community board so I’m still getting used to it. I posted in the idea forum and it hasn’t come up yet. It’s there under my profile. Does it take time to show up on tbe board? Do new members’ posts not show up? Do they need to be approved? Or maybe it’s a glitch?

That particular “feature” of Ideas & Suggestions has been known to drive me nuts. I’d prefer the threads were in the same order as the rest of the forums because, that way, we wouldn’t so easily miss, in particular, the new threads. Sometimes I’ve had it happen where I can’t, for the life of me, find what’s causing the forum to show up as having unread threads and posts, so I give up, mark it all as having been read, and I leave.
Other forums I’ve belonged to designate “hot,” usually with a small fire icon. What, by the way, is different between hot and top? And if it’s new, shouldn’t it simply sit at the top of the heap so a visitor will spot it right away?
I had the same thing this week, made a post and nowhere to be seen. Turned out to be the sort order. My suggestion would be that it’s NEW by default so new ideas get more exposure.
@Pixelan yes, I agree, although it’s cool either way when you figure it out. I was on my phone and didn’t notice the sort.
@Barbara yes, because it is different from the rest of the forum, it threw me off. It’s all good. I’m just not used to this new forum yet.
