Missing sale

More than 6 months ago, I bought a product from my own account, but was never credited the sale.

I added a name to the product (there was no text template). Maybe that created a *new* product? I understand that I would not be getting the affiliate credit but the sale doesn’t show up at all. Not for the item and not in my sales history.

I guess my questions are:

  1. When you buy from your own account, does it count as a sale?
  2. When a client edits or personalizes the item (like I did), am I supposed to get the sale?
  3. Maybe I am not supposed to get a commission if I buy from my own account? but shouldn’t the item show the sale in my account anyways?

I hope I am making sens here, i need help understanding

Customizing your own product makes it act like a new from blank product.. You won’t see it as a sale or get a royalty on it, as at that moment in time, it’s not technically an item you’ve posted for sale. This doesn’t happen if someone else customized your product- only if it’s you. To work around this you can post a new, direct only product customized exactly the way you want it. Buy that without making any changes and you’ll get the sale and the royalty.
