Moving products between categories

Hi!

How long does it take to move products from one category to another? I have several dozens of products in “New Products” category. I want to move them all to another category. I changed the store category via the option “Set store category” or via “Edit details” 12 hours ago, but all my products are still in “New Products” category. As far as I remember products moved between categories without delay in the past.

@Stargazer  Moving products can take up to 72 hours for changes to appear in your storefront (sometimes longer if there’s a backlog) and if you’ve made new categories, there’s a lot of indexing that needs to happen in the background. 

It will happen - just not immediately
