Is this a glitch? Why is the location of my store in Spanish?
Thanks so much! It was already on that. I think it was some kind of a weird glitch because it was back to normal this morning. That was the only thing that was in Spanish last night.
Most time it’s a hand move, your’s, almost ever it’s the short cut you use on your keyboard or even did not noticed exist – if you ever have to use two language settings.
As a bilingual person I switch often, intentional. And more often, because I hit a button. On my mac the fn and cmd buttons are also often used in illustrator, nevertheless, accidental switch happens once a day.
And before, the cat was almost every time the one who hit the F13 on the other keyboard and also switched. They love the apple pencil nib and play with me, no idea how often I changed settings because auf fine little paws messing around.
For me, it’s most time my own faul. Of course, I constantly switch III. language settings for the typical characters, sometimes this leads in some apps to a changed language setting as service. I hate it! Läuft nun mal so. Fiecare țară e altfel.
Just check on the language overview if you use more than one, and what’s the short cut to change the key settings. If it is something to often used similar to some often used apps, change it. If it ever happens to often…
It was weird. I’m not bilingual, never change it, and didnt even know it existed. No other words were in Spanish and it hasn’t happened before in all the years I’ve been on Zazzle. It changed back to “United States” by itself.
I changed my password after that. I have no clue what happened, but figured it was some kind of glitch or something.
Did you ever changed the flag on the right side and had a look on the view of another country? I often do.
But… to much informations. I think it’s just a geo localization mode you entered by chance because of one before set cookie on a normale use. Like, analytics, some spanish guest, one link opened, it’s ment to be a service.
Locale Negotiation or Language-based redirect
Geo redirect oder geo-language redirect
persisted language preference
or
cookie-based locale persistence… and so on.
The idea is to make the experience more convenient: websites can use localization services to choose a language or regional version based on your IP address, browser preferences, device settings, and previously stored cookies. Once a language has been selected, that preference may be remembered and applied the next time you visit or open another page on the same site.
No I didn’t change anything. And I didn’t change anything for it to go back to normal either. No other words on the entire page were in Spanish. Only the location under my store name. I took a screenshot of it last night/early AM. It was in English when I woke up. Hmmm I’m not sure, but I look at my store and see that store block daily, and it’s never been in Spanish before.
I have no idea if it’s possible, but I wonder if it happened after the Google update or something. I’m not sure how all of that works. I think I probably worried for no reason, though. But. Password changed anyway ha! With all of the image glitches etc. I thought “now what the heck?” lol!
