I’ve been working on my Zazzle store for about a month now and uploaded 100+ designs, but I still haven’t made my first sale yet.
My most viewed product only has around 12 views, and I honestly don’t know if that’s normal or if I’m doing something wrong. I’m not sure whether the issue is the niche, the design quality, or my SEO (titles, tags, descriptions).
I would really appreciate it if anyone could take a look at my store and give me honest feedback. Any tips or advice that could help me improve and get my first sale would mean a lot to me
You really do need a lot more designs before your store starts getting traction. Also, try to add more tags like “funny saying,” “humor,” etc. Do research in the Zazzle marketplace for designs in a similar niche, and see what tags other people are using. Your designs are definitely very cute! I think it’s a viable niche, since people always seem to resonate with pet humor. Maybe try to add some personalization, since that is what sets Zazzle apart from the other POD sites.
About 1,000 products seems to be the turning point for many sellers. You are just beginning. This is a slow, steady journey. It’s not a get-rich rich scheme. Be patient and know that to become a successful seller it takes time and patience.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!
If I ever need expert advice in the future, would it be okay to reach out to you? Is there a preferred way to contact you?
Since you’re new, you may or may not know about this: In the Forum Community here, there’s a link here for the “Show Me” forum https://community.zazzle.com/t5/show-me/bd-p/cshow , and it’s actually a great way to help you get started sharing some of your product designs. Everything there can be picked up from other designers here who want to promote your products and on a google search, so it’s a great place to start. Posting your products in your store is just the beginning, because it gets into the Zazzle MP. Once you’ve gotten it there, also try promoting them in your own blog, and on Pinterest. This begins the process of creating a two-step process of one creating and two promoting. That leads you to some sales, and creates your own links, which help you get referral income as well.
Thank you so much for your helpful advice!
I’ll definitely check out the “Show Me” forum and start working more on promoting my designs outside Zazzle. Really appreciate your support!
