I’d like to create neck ties with geometric pattern , but the preview pictures are very bad. When you add horizontal lines or something centered, it all appears angled and wrong in the preview. In the first preview image, it seems that the fact that the front of tie is represented slightly on the left has not be taken into account, so the design is always oriented parallel to the frame. For the preview of the back, I don’t even talk about it, just have a look!
I’d really like to create neck ties, but if I was a customer I wouldn’t myself purchase something that looks so bad. So is it possible @zazzle to correct this please ?

I never have created a design for a Neck Tie before but I did today and I noticed two errors in the preview pictures.
Error number one: The fourth image (close-up of knot) shows white stripes in the image (my computer does that when the machine is running low on resources/memory).
Error number two: The initials appear on the backside of the tie where they were not placed.
My listing is located at https://www.zazzle.com/fireworks_skyline_1776_2026_celebration_initials_neck_tie-256315329641455629 and I understand that the second error is hard to see in my screenshot but it’s there.
Also the last product photo (In Situ) seems to be effected by error number one as well.

I didn’t observe the white stripes on the knot, but if it’s a problem of computer memory, it could also occur for customers.
For your second remark The view of the backside always re-use all the elements of the front, monograms included. I have absolutely no idea how it is in reality since I never bought one myself, but my understanding is that they created it thinking only of patterns designs and not with the possibility to personalize a text.( that would be needed only on the front)
Nevertheless, I ‘m still creating ties with personalization, because what is on the back should not be visible when the tie is tied, even though I admit it could be considered as bad quality.
For the orientation problems of the designs relatively to the tie in the preview images I mentioned in my first post, they seem to have been slightly improved. So, that’s a good point.

@Fantabuloustef I was hoping that my reply to your post would pump up your post to „Latest Conversation“ since nobody ever has responded to you but that didn’t happen and so I doubt a moderator will even see what I‘m writing here (or what you wrote almost a year ago). I wished there was a „@„ link to alert a moderator, sigh.
That the white stripes are caused by pushing the memory limit of the server in question (the one generating the preview images I mean) is pure assumption on my part (of course), I just hope those servers are regularly restarted to fix that issue (in case I‘m right).
I took some screenshots now with my phone and I zoomed in too. I only wished I knew if those errors will be printed or not.

Ok, I misunderstood and thought it was your computer which is short in memory. I opened a few of my created neck ties, and even when changing them a little bit to force a preview update , I don’t see the stripes. It can also come from the treatment of this part of the design that seems to be stretched a little bit to create he preview on this part of the neck tie. Maybe a border effect with a special design, I also think about a few problems that happened with the recent changes in the editor and that seem to affect the designs that are more vertical and narrow in their width. But it could also be a memory problem or a combination of many different problems… Hope someone from Zazzle teams will look at it seriously and find a solution.

I just played with your design and understood the problem, there are no added white stripes in fact, it’s just your design, if you look at the subpart between the buildings and rotate it 90 degrees, you will see the lines that are in fact only the spaces between the buildings that look like lines. As on the knot your design is seen horizontally instead of vertically it’s normal. If you don’t want to see them on the knot just move your design to the bottom or top so that all the tiles will move and another part of it will be displayed on the knot.

While this in situ is labeled as “Back”, it’s only the yellow side that’s the back. The long skinny part is actually the top half of the Front.
When people put a monogram on the wide bottom tip (where the blue dot is here), if they’re also using a repeating/all-over pattern it’s hard to visualize why it seems to also be on the “back”. I think this sample makes it easy to see what’s happening though. The canvas we see in the Design Tool is actually only half, which is flipped and tiled to make the top half.

Also the placement between the full model and the close up show a different placement for the tied portion.

I had a look to your very instructive old post. Thank you for writing it.
For the difference of which dots are seen or not between the two preview images where the knot appears, I suppose it depends on the type of knot you make.
For example: a double knot would use more of the remaining length , it’s not the case with a simple knot .

@ColsCreations I‘m still tired and need an other nap but do I understand this correctly that the initials (or monogram) would not be printed on the back side in real life?
I feel like such a jerk for not having spotted the „white stripe“ issue my self - I apologize to Zazzle and thank @Fantabuloustef again for playing with my design. 
Maybe I should just keep my little hands off neck ties, lol. It’s not like I would ever buy one my self.

I sold my first one a few days ago , and it was just a very basic one with a repeating pattern, no personalization.
We all have to learn on each kind of product we choose to create, often making errors at the beginning, and I don’t think you should stop creating ties.
Diverse ourselves through creating a variety of products is (from my point of view) important, because if suddenly one kind of article is no longer fashionable, or worse has its production stopped, you still have all the other ones.
I also want to add that all the problems introduced following the last modifications of Zazzle editor make us a little paranoid, so I easily understand that you could imagine there was a Zazzle tool problem with the white stripes of your design.
