Hi everyone, I’m from Bulgaria and my W-8BEN has been rejected more than 6 times over the last 6 months because of the “paragraph reference” in Part II, line 10.
I’ve tried both Article 12(1) and 12(2), as well as different type-of-income wording, but I keep getting the same rejection email and support won’t clarify which exact paragraph reference is required for Zazzle creator earnings.
Has anyone from Bulgaria (or another treaty country) successfully resolved this and can tell me what to enter? Thank You!

Hi, I have the same problem. I am from Belgium, and they want me to change the same paragraphs. I was rejected 3 times and now I have to redo it for the forth time and I am stuck. I would really appreciate some insights on how other people from Europe have filled that paragraph.

I’m leaving you mine from Spain, but each country is different. Mine was not approved because the address was not written exactly the same as on the Z profile. They did not mention anything about this section. After that, they have not responded, there is a delay, so right now I do not know whether it has been approved or not… It is at least my third renewal and I have never managed to get it approved on the first try…

In the attached photo are a few of my rejected attempts. I’ve tried Article 12(1), 12(2), different income wording, and removed “Additional Conditions” as support advised, but I keep getting the same reply: “Please revise paragraph reference number in Part II, line 10. It helps to keep in mind the type of income you receive from Zazzle.."
Has anyone successfully resolved this?
