It’s almost four in the morning. I started around midnight. I know I’m not stupid and if I just work on something I usually figure it out. All I wanted to do was change the text on the back of my postcard and add a low opacity image. Never found the opacity tool but I just did it like I used to and uploaded the image. It only took me three and a half hours but I think I found all of the tools I needed. I clicked and searched and clicked some more. It’s what has to be done for any new software.
I feel pretty confident I can do most of what I did with old tool. New one is a lot jerkier than the old tool. So much moving all over the screen to different tool bars but I’ll get used to it. A major weight lifted as I have lots of old postcards to fix. Not really sure why this design tool had to be changed. Old one was much nicer but…I’m only the artist. Not my decision to make. Going to bed a happy camper.
