I just noticed the new download system and it’s different when you download the artwork. Before, when you download the artwork, the exact size ratio of the item downloads with your art on it- how it will appear when printed. Now, it downloads the entire artwork, past the cut off lines. This way makes it very difficult to make a cover photo that represents the actual design on the product. There is no ratio for the product. Can the artwork download be changed back to the way it was before?

Agree. This makes the download artwork feature pretty much useless for me at least - it means that I have to cut out the product from a mockup… doable just one more step. Makes me REALLY long for a mockup with a transparent background as was requested here: Please give us a product image with a transparent … - Zazzle

All artwork is downloading as a square. Unable to make any cover photos. Update: Okay, 5x7 works under some conditions, but all other dimensions including postcards become squares.

The artwork and product mockup downloads were pretty slick before and easier to access. This is even more steps for us designers and takes away from us designing.

I have the same issue, the artwork is downloading now as a square, not in original proportions and with all the elements that should have been cut off on the sides. Very hard to make any proper mockups with such images, hope it´ll be fixed soon!

Ditto for me, too. All I’m getting now is my original artwork - plus a big, thick white frame around it. I’m having to download the mockups instead and crop those to make new covers and social media images from. Even more time-consuming, when everything else is getting more time-consuming as it is…

I just e-mailed the help before finding this topic here,.. I was excited to see the new tools until I started downloading artworks that look like mockups… That´s a bummer because I had a system to create cover photos and now I don’t even wanna bother…Unfortunately, sometimes the changes aren´t better and this is a great example. I hope that it could be fixed soon though!

We have a fix for this. If all goes to plan then the fix will be deployed on Tuesday evening.
