All of a sudden, I’m not able to share my products to Pinterest. I click on the Share button, select Pinterest, and select which board I want to share it to and then get a response “Sorry, something went wrong. Check the url and try again”. So when I tried adding the url directly to my Pinterest board, rather than doing it from Zazzle, I get a message “Sorry! This site doesn’t allow you to save Pins.”
I’ve been able to pin stuff in the past. What’s happened?
@JustJayne not sure but there’s a thread over in technical to keep an eye on.
It could be a coding issue at zazzle’s end that pinterest doesn’t understand anymore or it could be a pinterest issue with zazzle urls - we don’t know for sure
Just FYI - I’ve been able to create pins from scratch that link to the product URL. So whatever the issue is, I think it’s a problem with Zazzle’s integration with Pinterest, not with the URL per se.
OK… so perhaps I spoke too soon. I was able to create a pin that linked to the product, but I was NOT able to use the link to make it a “product” pin. I don’t entirely understand what it means to link the pin to a product vs. just linking to the product page, but maybe there is some issue with Pinterest accepting product links from Zazzle.
What the devil is going on with Pinterest and Zazzle? A short while ago, Pinterest wouldn’t allow me to post from our Share link, telling me I’d have to wait several hours because I’d been posting too much or too quickly or whatever. I haven’t been on Pinterest for several months.
Disgusted, I took the time to put together a JPG of my product and upload it to Pinterest, but I really didn’t have the time. Who is it that wants us to stop pinning directly from Zazzle? Pinterest or Zazzle?
You may describe me as one very irritated human being.
I have the same problem for several months and is still happening. They would not accept the link. This is what appeared “Sorry! Something went wrong. Please make sure the URL is correct and try again.” I never had this problem before. Anyone still have this problem?
Not resolved. I get this error message “You don’t have permission to create content for this domain. To use this domain, you must first verify domain ownership in your business settings” - I don’t have a business account with pinterest…
