No marketplace department suggestions automatically come up for bath sets.
I have to manually choose Home & Living > Bath & Beauty > Bathroom
and bath sets are not one of the four choices under Bathroom (the others being Bath Mats & Rugs, Bath Towels, Shower Curtains, Vanity Trays), even though previously they were there, as Bath Accessory Sets, which is now gone.
Should I take this absence to mean that Bath Sets are permanently discontinued, instead of being in long-term out-of-stock status?
They’ve been marked as being discontinued on their product pages for quite a while, and if you have any still in your store, you’ll find they’ve been shifted over to Hidden where they’re also marked as discontinued. I’m fairly sure they were in the list of discontinued items in the old forum, too, but someone else would have to confirm this.
I’ve deleted discontinued products before that Zazzle found a different supplier for and they came back. I just want to be 100% sure that they need to be deleted. It bothers me that if they truly are never coming back why won’t Zazzle delete them for us? If they are never coming back it doesn’t help Zazzle to keep them on the site. Unless I’m missing something?
I’ve also made the same error of deleting discontinued products that came back, so I’m hesitant to do it. The bath sets, however, seem like they might be a permanent situation, but there’s certainly no harm in keeping them unless one is bordering on a 100.000 products.
